So J2 called me up at seven plus.
"hello daz where are you girls??"
"eh i'm at home eh, don't know where's J1 'cos she didn't pick up my call. Why leh, wanna ask us out for dinner huh? "
" oohhh, YAHHHH lah. Meet you girls ma. "
" Hahha, okay we meet for dinner then, at Lot1? "
" Okay see you there in 15 minutes. "
BOOM.
So I meet J2 out for dinner.
Pastamania!
Walked around the mall and the pasar malam just outside.
Then she came over to my place.
And played the trumpet. Then she asked if I've gotten my mouthpiece. I said not yet but maybe I'll check with the store because by right they should give me a mouthpiece too.
She said that maybe I didn't check my case properly.
Then.... she went on to explore my case and there is a hidden compartment.
And a trumpet mouthpiece and a package was there.
Speaking of that, I need to get a new silver cloth soon.
Anyway, I was way beyond words.
To think I'm a musician yet I didn't know.
So I concluded, " Aiyah, maybe people working in the government sector is smarter than me. "
Hahahaha! Thanks to J2 uh, if not I would have went down to the place to ask, thus embarrassing myself.

After so much of texting, calling, and even to the extent of texting her brother. Pretty funny uh.

Finally I note everything down on my new purple book. Not really new, was given to me three years back. Time to update/refresh my memory with all the success principles, debriefing points, inspirational stories and learning points. Can't wait for Friday when the camp starts!

p/s : J2 said my hair is really fugly now. :(

It has been pouring recently. Nice weather to stay at home and sleep though.
Anyway meet up J1 and Coen for dinner last night at Maxwell. Walked down to Chinatown, that's when Coen decided to head for a body massage after much persuasion from us. She said it wasn't as good as the one she normally goes to.
After some impromptu decision, we went to Blackberry Bar as suggested by J1. Free pool on Monday night. But then, there wasn't a single soul around, probably it was a Monday. J2 joined us afterwards! We literally turned the whole bar into a clubbing scene. Blasting the loud R&B music, drinking, dancing, knocking onto one another due to the cramp area, singing... Hahah. Coen went really tipsy and face turned red. But the night was really crazy shit. Danced till super shagged. Left when the bar closed.

Sucha Lazy Tuesday. Just watched the movie, Hostel. Awwww, gross yet thrilling.

I had band practise yesterday. Was at Regent listening to my juniors. Lunch was with Zj, Mr lim and Ms Loh for some famous curry fish head at Toa Payoh.
Then we had band practise. Ahh, during the hour sectional time, we were practically chit-chatting happily.. and reading our own rythem. Was fun, playing that particular new piece.
Thanks to Miss Loh who sent zj and I to the station due to the heavy downpour.
So I met up Coen and J1 later on. Dinner at BK, watched the fireworks. J1 showed me a very sweet text, and she make me smiled. :)
Then we left city hall area since it was too packed, and chill at Plaza Sing TCC till late. Thanks to Coen for the treat uh!

Today is a Lazy SUNDAY. Spent the whole of today at home. Doing nothing but sleeping. :) WOOOOO. And I just had mee siam for supper!

-Texted me after her class ended, when I was home and I got no food, nothing much to do.

I was caught with amazement too, since she mentioned that she had to be home for dinner.
And to think, her travelling journey is gonna take another two hours!

Anyway, I think I look like a guy now. :/ Was from my friends' opinions of me anyway.

And then, bumped into my elder brother! So we had a chat at the mrt station before I went home. We were also catching up, on our happenings for the previous night since we didn't see each other. :)

WEEKENDS CRAZE

Meet J1 at Bedok on Saturday night before heading to meet Haney at Selegie.
Drinking over at the pub, watching soccer, chatting, stories to share, and of 'cos, Singing!
This time, it was singing with MTV and also recording. Was really really crazy. Haney's friend, Jatsby joined us after. We sang till closing at 3am, and left to Lunar at Clarke Quay.
Thought that we couldn't enter since J1 and I wore slippers, but we managed to get in!
But, it was all the chinese pop musics... danced around, eating, drinking, chatting. But the atmosphere was not that bad lah. No photos to show anyway, because bag was placed in the locker.

Then we left in the wee hour, to some hotel nearby to chill and rest. Was feeling very lethargic too. Left to J1's place to have a good rest. Late lunch, dinner, tv, surfed net. J2 came to pick us up for supper. Catch up... catch up and moreeee.

Left J1's place with her yesterday, to NUS for her lecture. Okay, I was also listening attentively to the lecturer can. Gosh, but it was kinda interesting. Had late lunch at Clementi with her before heading home.

I was really really caught by surprise when I saw J1 at Jurong after alighting. Was so shocked that I stood there, speechless for long. Hahah, and she sent me off.

BUMPY BUMPY TRIP

Meet J1 at NUS. Again, I crashed her campus. Another surprise.
Went down to town to meet Kaey. Dinner was at Pastamania.
Then.... I bumped into Felicia and Caroline.
Just outside Ciney I bumped into my primary school friend, Amanda who acknowledged me first. To think she still remembered me!
And we played foozeball and pool. Been quite a while since I last played foozeball. So much more to learn from my friends. Bumped into Nich the gay. Then bumped into Sister V before meeting Valerie up. Met Gwen after her movie. Bumped into Ian, Iris and friends. Make new friends again. And lastly, I bumped into Terry in the bus home.

Hah, bumpy trip eh.

Mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar wa s full. They agreed that it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous 'yes.'
The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things---your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions---and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car. The sand is everything else---the small stuff. 'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.

'Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Spend time with your children. Spend time with your parents. Visit with grandparents. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first---the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled and said, 'I'm glad you asked. 'The coffee just shows you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'

Update!

Surprisingly I woke up at 2pm, still feeling very very lethargic. Lunch, watched olympics, trimmed my finger nails and practised trumpet.

And as usual, meet up with J1. Wanted to surprise her after her seminar at Clementi. And she wanted to give me a surprise by coming to my place too, knowing that I was lazy to drag myself out of my place. WOAAA. Anyhow, she is sweet. teehee. And that's my J1. :)

Then we meet Kaey at Marina Square and had dinner together before heading home.
