The above photo includes the coaches who did Chongfu pri camp just few days back. After camp, we camwhored a little in the room. Hah.

Anyway, the camp was enjoyable with my students addressing me as 'Maria'. Plus all the silly things we did like catching the fish in the pond and then free-ing it back, exploring the whole school and so on. Definitely with the company of the coaches the word 'lethargic' was no longer in my dictionary, replacing it with 'craziness'. I shall upload the photos at a later time. Too many at one go.

Mmm, anyway yesterday was out with Ys at Bugis and Haji Lane. Breaklunchner was at Crystal Jade.

All the funny conversations we had there, just burst out laughing like no one's around. Went down to visit Val and sister V too. Sister V gave me invitation cards for Flashimp party. Let's just see how it goes.

After meeting Pat and Terence at Clarke Quay, we queued up at Zirac. And while waiting, both ys and I did suicide there with people watching us man. Thank goodness there wasn't car or human traffic at that very moment. After realising the minimum age for guys to enter is 21, gave it a miss and tried the pub at Tg Pagar. Unfortunately it was too crowded so we hit down to Beerbelly at Boat Quay. Just drink,sing,pool,games. Like thanks to Pat that I drank uncountable cups. And ended up everyone seemed to be dead.

Last evening I attended the combined bands of Regent, Hougang and Shuqun's concert.
Had a good conversation with the band teachers, especially the new teachers. Welcome! Haha.
And also chatted with the vice principals too. Most of the alumnus took the ride back with Regent. It's been months since I stepped in that school, and I started to recall my time in Regent man. Anyway, I went home after that, was too tired to eat Ba Chor Mee even though it was me who suggested having supper. Sorry peeps!

So I finally get to see my mom after several weeks of not 'bumping' into each other at home.
She looked at me and said "whoa become blacker again." Hahaha. And she got me to buy toto for her. Hah. This is one fabulous thing about being legally 18.

Anyway my evening was spent with Ys, pat and his friend. Wanted to drink at St James, ended up slacking at Suntec's Starbucks. I bumped into Aaron fan! Like after not contacting since the Os period.

Anyway I went St. James with Pat & Ys just two days back. Drinking cum socialising at Tiger Live. Games of drink-when-you-lose and capturing shots is definitely yesyes.

I admitted that my sense of dressing was way too casual because I wasn't even informed that we were going clubbing! As told by Pat that we'll just be going Suntec and it was so convincing man.

All 8 of us hitched a ride down to zouk from there, and I met FADS. Yes I swear that even the mugger-Stephanie was there! Didn't really get to dance much with them since I was with my friends. Music was good at Phuture whereas mambo at Zouk was alright with all the hand action dances.

I gonna get prepared for work soon, and probably meet FADS up for supper.

Say hello to home now.

After not being home for almost the whole week, I can finally sit on my comfy bed and use my laptop. Say hi to everyone in my family now, including Beard. Stare at my wall of 2 band schedules. Looks at my beary bed, ready to turn in after I'm done typing here.

Run the East Zone NE ambassadors program on Tuesday. Stayed over the night before, and watched Russell Peter comedies till we fell asleep. Good to mix around with the various secondary schools from the east. All of us went for supper and then ys and I crashed Pat's place. Had a nice conversation with Nicholas, watched movie till we fell asleep. The next day we went to ys' s place and did several videos of ourselves! When I returned home I was already dead out.

So just last night, the 14 coaches went clubbing together. Was the first time we did so, but sadly some others couldn't join us due to exams. Another time guys! Clubbed at Double 0, danced/shake/swung/screamed/laughed/sang like there's no tomorrow, perspired like you can just squeeze water out from your tops and the funny thing is ,we took turns to rest on the sofa, just to replenish energy. Hah. None was drunk, no worries. And then, ys and I crashed Pat's place. By the time we reached was 5am, we just hopped onto the bed and sleep. Slacked around till evening, headed to ys's place and then to town for dinner with J1 and J2. Last destination before HSH : chilled at boat quay.

Am so pretty packed with camps for the past few days. Mails flooded, blog remain stagnant, unaware of the outside world, but what's great was the company I had with my coaches and definitely the experiences I had in the various camps.

I was 15 minutes early for class today(Like whoa), so I did a research on the Thai ritual after my friends told me about the movie, Coffin. It was said that if you laid in the coffin, it means getting rid of bad karma or to prolong life. Sounds too good to be true. But the only time you lay in the coffin is when you're dead. Would you want to do it too when you're alive, just so that you can start a new life afresh like newborn? Well I guess if you're given these number of years to live, then live it up. What for you lengthen it. As though trying to change your path of fate.

Anyway,I had a breakfast with my old clique, JXDVD. But Dyne was not in school. :/
Western meal and fruit juice for all of us for a hearty breakfast. Yeah, we catch up like nobody's business and returned to class late.
Then it was meeting FADS to hit off town. Whenever we get together, we shop for the cheap cheap yet good quality stuffs and reasonable yet thumbs up food. Oh yeah, did I mention Steph didn't join us again? !^%$@^%^#^@$!$%#@%$#!&% We gonna wait till your As is over and let's rock and roll the town!
Hah, I can't forget that incident at Central when the waitress didn't allow us to be seated at the 4 seaters table when there's only 3 of us. She had the cheek to tell us that it's only for four when the restaurant is bloody empty. Like you can hear whoever's talking no matter how soft. Make a big fuss of it, can't imagine that we did all those silly acts like we totally walked out of that place. Yeah, it seemed like secondary school days again though it was years back. OKAY, I'm the culprit. I suggested walking out and I did so, with the two of them tagging behind me. "Only when jiahui's around then we dare to do." Hahaha. Have to be honest, only when FADS are with me, I do all kinds of silly retarded dumb acts. Enough of that for now. Hah.

I was researching on 'Female hormones' and I chanced upon this '12 ways to deal with anger'.
Some ways appear useful and effective to me. So I just wanna share a few which I totally agree on.

Don't argue after 9pm
Arguements may appear out of hand in the evening, especially if the partner is tired after a long day at work. Trival things that happen may develope into something major. Any important issues are better talked about in the daylight hours, when people are fresh and sober.


Be assertive rather than aggressive
Some people get angry because they don't assert themselves. They find it hard to speak up or to make their point, so they tend to keep quiet. But their anger is likely to simmer until they get to boiling point and they become furious - and everyone knows it. If this sounds like you, it will help to learn to speak up for yourself sooner rather than later.
You need to calmly make your point using the word 'I'. For example: 'I would like you to help me with the shopping.' Or 'I'd like you to explain what you need.'


Get more leisure
Many people work crazy hours these days. And many of these individuals seek help from therapists because they are constantly irritable and angry. Some admit to smashing keyboards or throwing things round the office. This is not normal behaviour. Anger and irritation can be reduced by finding more time for you. Take a lunch hour or at least get out for a walk - even if it's just for 20 minutes. Above all get more sleep. All work and no play no longer makes Jack dull - these days it makes him angry, dysfunctional and sometimes mentally or physically ill.

So I have been out of the blogging period for exactly s.e.v.e.n days, not that I don't have the intention to update but because I was away from home for five days.

This holiday, I impacted others' lives, having to do things that I don't usually do during school days. Going back to the camp scene after 'mia' for a few months, I did Northlight camp for 3d2n. After this whole camp, my perspection of my own students changed totally. The students are really very very very nice kids afterall. The nicest students I've ever seen from all the camps I've done. On the last day of camp, I went to school for PP presentation. I was late for half an hour and on top of that, I was so tired from the camp. So I presented and I think it was quite alright, managed to answer all the questions given by the assessors. I still remember that I was a lil nervous that I stumbled upon words for the first few minutes before I went on smoothly.
And then I headed home to sleep before I went for work. Work was fun, Val and friends came over to visit me and I did the closing with two other of my managers.

Attended NYP concert. Was a blast. I guess the pieces they brought to Vienna was really interesting. Managed to see a few whom I haven't seen for long. Had supper at Bugis with J1 and J2. Went down to Tg pagar for some drinks and bumped into Justin. Still as fit as ever lah. Hah. Okay I think I'm really dumb. I waited for an hour plus before realising there isn't night rider functioning at Dhobby Ghaut. I was waiting, and then I started to talk to the girl who sat beside me at the bus stop. And after 15 minutes of our conversation, we realised that we know each other through Val. Gosh, we were like 'whoa lao eh, then we talked so politely to each other!' Hah. Kind of interesting. 'It's a small world afterall..'

So I was home the whole of today. Yeah. SICK is the word.
