BERRY & JERRY.

Yesterday before I left my place for band practise, I actually had Ben & Jerry ice cream! :D
So why Berry & Jerry? 'Cos the other time when we went for Ben & Jerry's, Jordan called it as Berry & Jerry without realising its wrong!

Afterwards I headed to army market and bought an air pillow. Come to think of that, quite redundant, 'cos will only be using it when camps come.
Meet Tanya at Bugis. Was the first time I shopped and bought clothes up to 50 bucks in an hour. WOAH. Unbelievable, guess it was really quite some time that I last shopped.

Afterwards was meeting up with Cheryl, Xue Er and Cass for SAKAE SUSHI.
It has been a long long time ever since I last dined there too.

We talked about anything under the moon, ate a lot and a lot more. :) John came afterwards but I left early.
Glad that I had a great chat with my mommy when I returned. Was surprised that she was supportive of me getting my own instrument too.

So a friend of mine accompanied me home last night. Guess guess!

FANG MENG YI!

The last time I saw her was last year. Can imagine how much we miss each other?

Headed to Regent for band this morning, sectionals then combine.
Quite a fruitful practise for me though.

Noel and I

With Jess.

Afterwards had late lunch then HORTON movie with Jordan and Charles.
Quite a nice storyline, a movie not to be missed. Relating so much back in our own lives.
"A person's a person, no matter how small."

HOME SWEET HOME afterwards.
I was greeted by my younger cousin warmly then.

Look at how adorable he's!

And my older cousin!

Meeting my trumpet teacher tomorrow! :D

DAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

Seriously I do not know what to blog about, seems that nothing really interesting is coming my way. Maybe it's the way I define my 'Interesting'. Haa.

So yesterday was meeting up my camp directors for a casual chat of new ideas for a new camp theme. We ended up going to Clarke Quay, Minds Cafe to inspire ourselves. However the shop is not opened yet, so we dined at BK at lunch. BK has become another of my favourite place to dine, replacing MAC out of my WHERE-TO-EAT list.

Good atmosphere, Games upon games, free flow of drinks and as cheap as $5 per person. LADIES NIGHT on WED, means its F R E E! Where can you find such a place then? (:

Next was meeting up the other few coaches to the National Museum. Bet you guys haven't been there or can you even remember when was the last time you ever step into a museum?
Free entrance for viewing of galleries after 6pm. Woah!

So we took some pictures:

Anyway, they stated no flash allowed, so doesn't mean no photos allow too.
We headed to Fort Canning Hill and were offered two complimentary tickets for the ballet performance. So Cass, Cheryl and Xue Er left us. The rest of us headed to another of my favourite place to dine, replacing KFC for now.

It's .....

TADAHHH! SUBWAY!!!!!!

I 've always been in love with their sticky freshly baked cookies. :D So go taste it if you haven't. At an affordable price too.

So guess who I bumped into????????

RANDY TOH. :]

Afterwards I cabbed to Lot1 to meet my family for grocery shopping. YAYY, mom bought the MUDSLIDE BEN & JERRY's!

Anyway, here are the photos I found in my phone but not updated.

MAKE-A-FRIEND OR MORE @ CHALET

No camps for this coming week, hence my schedule is a little less busy.
But at the same time, am preparing myself for the next camp at Sentosa which is gonna be 4D3N, excluding a night training before the camp.
Guess I so gonna miss my home sweet home again. :(
Yet another opportunity not to be missed, new friends, high elements and water activities.
Anyway, was so bored at home doing nothing on Monday that I decided to head to my friend's friend's chalet. You know, making new friends is what I usually does. Heh.

Suresh's dad fetched us to the chalet at Changi.

So both of us were the one preparing the bbq food. Taste the heavenly honey chicken wings, a new recipe from Suresh.
A night of fun with drinks, food, people, games.
Was my first time going for a mixture of alcoholic drinks in a night!
Ranging from absolute vodka, heineken, sour apple, chivas to red wine.
Definitely would not forget that cranky night of crankiness.

Myself, Huixin, Azree and Ain.

Suresh and Khan.

And for the picture of the day:

The sexayiness guy.

Just so much to say, yet so little time for me to update.

It was a total blast for Mayflower Sec1 Camp. My group- Kenai-lynx. (class 1D)
Will not forget what we had been through thick and thin, be it sharing of funny horror stories while waiting for shower, laughters during every single meals, lots of sharing stories and personal experiences, playing games together and so on. Hope that whatever taught to them, it will be deeply rooted in them and apply in their lives.
Not just another ordinary camp that ended, but an extraordinary one.

After the camp ended on thursday, a few of us went for a movie, Semipro. I guess I fell asleep at some parts. Then it was night gathering at my place with relatives who just landed in Singapore.

Yesterday was an impromptu outing with Azree at town. Craved for subway cookies,so decided to dine there for dinner. New pair of flops for himself before I headed for ktv session with relatives till 1am. Was so beaten out by then.

Just today, Jordan and I had mac breakfast before we headed to band practise. Had much fun for combine, sightread new pieces.
That's about it, another 'band practise day' tomorrow.

Not much of photos but more of memories.

CAMPS and MORE

Yes I was away for camps since Monday. Pei Xin Primary School "Facing The Giants" Workshop held on Monday and Tuesday. The students were very disciplined, probably because they were the leaders of the school. Had no problems with the students, but am very glad they brought the values learnt through games and stories I shared back. Got closer with 4 other coaches since there were only 5 coaches for this workshop. Also many thanks to Jeff for the dinner treat on the last day! Then we had a late night movie outing at town afterwards. Watched Meet The Spartians and had supper with the rest of the coaches till two am. Norman drove John and I home then.

The next day I had meeting with the band excos till late noon before I set off for Poi Ching Camp training. Can't say much for Poi Ching Primary Six Cohort Camp since I was there only on the whole of first day. I learnt the different techniques to start off the whole class from James, framing up, dealing with different students.. I see immediate improvements in the students once we started debriefing them on the points they should work on. One thing for sure I know was, I stepped out of my comfort and usual zone which I never think I'll.

Band camp exchange followed by games and so on. Everything was smooth and last day we did Appreciation with one another. After the camp, liting, hazel, junhao and I went for movie. I guess we were too crazy at that point of time. But during the Water Horse movie, fell asleep man. I guess we were all too shagged.

Another learning experience awaiting for me. 18th-20th Mayflower camp.

End off with a few pictures. (Didn't take much during bandcamp)

Group photo with coaches when we did our highest tower.

updates!

I was away from home since Monday till last night.
Before booking into campsite on Monday, attended class barbeque at Leon's condo.
The wings were marinated by suresh, so it was superb plus balcan chilli.

Highway came and brought drinks for us.

So we actually played 7-wup game and the losers will have to drink.
Ended up, Lina lost quite several times.

Suresh got really wild after that, playing the dice games.
Juff the malay chinese. Girls.

Though it wasn't the full class around, everyone enjoyed the last gathering together.
Appreciated Suresh for managing the food side, Leon for booking the pit and lastly, Wesley and Angela for arranging the whole gathering.

Afterwards was booking into the campsite for St Patrick Live Operation Camp.
It was a quest set for myself, to see how far I can endure, how much I can instill the students with. Once again, a total new experience, a total new learning experience.
Knowing that I've done my best for my students, it still depends on how much the students want to apply in their lives. We can't possible force them, but we can instill values in them. Seeing a tiny change in them is yet another level up for me, like an achievement made. I've to thank Syam for guiding me much along as my mirror. It was a mirthful experience for me, really thankful for those pulling me through.
After breaking camp in the noon on Thursday, we had lunch together at Long John before going home for a bathe and packing up for next camp.
Observed Yusof Ishak camp and stayed in. Campers were totally different from St Pat, more enthuasistic and happening.
Camwhore time.

Izzaty's dad came to fetch us back last night. Had a twelve hour rest before heading to Regent today to teach my juniors. Was feeling rather shagged, but TWIX gave me the energy man! Really impressed with them today, because I heard improvements. (: After practise, discussion with karena and junhao for band camp. More camps coming along for now.

When I returned home just, my mom asked "Rather busy uh?" My response was, "Quite okay luh." I think I'm really missing my family so much. Especially my trumpet, seriously. :(

I think I'm camouflaging in the dark already, given the number of camps. Haah.
