SIMS. BAND.
As usual,I slept at 5am last night playing Sims2.
Missed the sectionals.
Met up with Jordan to get to school for combine practice.
Ended in the evening, then had dinner with Liting, Zhenjun and Aaron at Lot1.
Felt so bored, so meet up Jet for cycling at 12am.
Yes you might think I'm crazy but I'm not!
I can tell you a few reasons why I'm not:
I'm having a school holiday now.
I want to breathe in fresh air!
I want to have peace. :D
I'm Daz leh! (as the saying goes)

So went all the way to bukit batok(new highway from sunshine place), to PJC route, to CCK park and settled down to chat.
Then we went back at 130am.
I gona play sims all night!
Melody wants back sims CD tomorrow ! ;(

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIC CHEW SHI DA!

I went to celebrate Eric's birthday with some of my ex-classmates.
Had our dinner at Botakjones (clementi).
It's Western American Food at very affordable prices!
The portion is quite big too.
What's so special is their menu!
It's printed in A4 size papers and the sheets are stapled together.
Worth trying!
There're also other outlets at Ang Mo Kio,Tuas,Depot Road and Toa Payoh.

5. Self Practise for my pieces.
6. Work
7. Overnight mahjong session at Charles' place.
8. Build up SIMS relationship!

WOAHHHH. Can tell how busy I'm now?

So back to today.
I intended to stay up last night till this morning then head to regent.
Supposed to meet aaron,zhenjun and helmi at 6am YewTee Mac.
Supposed to meet liting and hazel for breakfast at 7am YewTee Mac.
BUT....
I fell asleep at 5am!
Many people called me, but i didn't pick up 'cos I was feeling too tired due to last night's game of SIMS.
So I missed regent trumpet sectionals ;(
I woke up at about 12pm actually.
Had lunch with melody and liting at KFC.
Then I went to darryl's place for mahjong with some of the bandmates.
So we played till all the tiles are being used up, thus realising that each of us took one another's tile. LOL.

Went to jane ong's church in the evening with her.
Headed to anyu's place at night.
We watched campus superstar together lah, including her mom.
After the show, I went home.

Today marks the end of the very first semester, and also a sweet farewell to my class.
This 16 weeks really bond us so close.

Our friendship is just like that.(No words can describe, but it can be shown in the pics)

We held our hands tightly together, even the guys.We provided our shoulders to lean on when times are tough.We hugged each other for appreciation of what one has done for us.We shared with each other our meals when he/she didn’t bring enough cash.We learnt to use our laptop screen as a mirror.We learnt how to act cute.We learnt how to gossip.We learnt what is teamwork.We learnt what is sexy legs. We learnt to jump for joy. We learnt to love. We learnt that friendship can be build into relationship.

CHEESE FONDUE PIZZA AT HOME
I had PIZZA for supper after I reached home today after work!
It's because I missed out my aunt's Pizza treat for my family. :(
She packed one whole cheese fondue pizza for my y.bro and me.

Very tempting right! :p

This afternoon, I played Sims2 tutorial mode.
LOL. it's so darn funny.
You have to control their lives;
to the toilet, to eat, to sleep, to kiss, to hug, to flirt, to exercise
and and and,
to MAKE BABY. -.-
How can you control someone to make BABY?
Oh yah, the sound the couple make is so so so -.- gosh.

What a fine day.
It has been raining so sudden recently.
I have been sleeping at weird timings recently, that makes me unable to wake up on time for school.
When I'm late, I don't attend school already.
Last week,I only went school once!
And also, many people are skipping school because holiday is nearing!
The rest of my days revolved around Bands.
from RWS to RPWS. :D

So.. Today I woke up at 1030am when the thunder roared.
I realised I was very late for rws so I didn't intend to go and decided to continue sleeping.
Noel called me and asked me to COME DOWN NOW. -.-
Wanted to get a cab to school since it's a heavy downpour.
Wasted my 10minutes of waiting for cab,no cab in SIGHT at all!
So I took a bus to school. Save some money!
Took them for sectionals on the final piece.
It sounded great! :]
AND my sec1s juniors are SO CUTE!
Had lunch at lot1 as usual.
Then some of us went town.

I bought my exam book at $32.
So in total, I've spent $100 on three books.
Afterall, it comes to a good use.

Our last stop was at JerryandBerry(According to Jordan).
LOL.
Headed home after that.
Just napped from 8pm to 11pm.
And my head hurts so much.
I'm feeling so hungry too. -.-

TUESDAY
I slept so late last night, 'cos I couldn't sleep.
And I really think I got Insomnia.
And then, I missed Elaine's morning call and alarm.
My brother knocked my door at 830am and asked
" Don't you need to attend school? "
Rushed to school with my trumpet.
And seriously, carrying something bulky slows down my pace.
I met Shirley in the bus! She was late too.
So we were like walking super duper fast to our own class.
A minute after 914am I will be unable to enter class.
So I sat down and rest, then my faci asked " Where's your laptop? "
Told her that I didn't want to take my UT since I'm only left with 15 freaking minutes to complete my paper in a rush.
When I'm in a rush, I don't really use my brain, LOL.
Since my faci pursuaded me so much to do my test, I unwillingly set up my laptop and did the test in 10 minutes.

VB codes again. Damn. Freaking Boring and DRY module.
Some of my classmates just left class halfway through. (Can see how boring it is?)

During our break, we went to support our classmates for the DDR.
The girl who top was actually my primary sch mate and to think, I still remember her name!
During the 3rd meeting, we didn't present at all!
It's super hard that none of the teams can really get all the codes done.
So we started and ended with 6P.
Dismissed at 330pm.
My day ended with Band.
That jordan is just too crappy.

Oh yes! I received my letter.
My Exam falls on the 28th Sept (Friday)!
So I got more time to practise and at the same time, get my final book.

HUNGRY GHOST FESTIVAL


Hungry Ghost festival is an occasion that is taken very seriously by the Chinese. This festival that falls on the 7th month of the lunar New Year is celebrated mainly in China and other countries like Singapore & Malaysia. It is believed by the Chinese that during this month, the gates of hell are opened to free the hungry ghosts who then wander to seek food on Earth. Some even think that the ghosts would seek revenge on those who had wronged them in their lives. The reason why the Chinese celebrate this festival is to remember their dead family members and pay tribute to them. They also feel that offering food to the deceased appeases them and wards off bad luck.


Celebration
Another belief among the Chinese is that the dead return to visit their living relatives during the 7th month and thus they prepare a sumptuous meal for the ‘hungry ghosts’. The Chinese feel that they have to satisfy the ghosts in order to get good fortune and luck in their lives.

During the 7th month, the Chinese offer prayers to the deceased relatives and burn joss sticks. In Singapore, it is a common sight to see entertaining ‘wayang’ shows and concerts performed on outdoor stages in some neighborhoods. These events are always held at night. There is a belief that this entertainment would please those wandering ghosts.


Superstitions
An interesting superstition that the Chinese have about the festival is that it is bad to go swimming during the 7th month. They think that an evil ghost might cause you to drown in the swimming pool. In addition to this, children are also advised to return home early and not to wander around alone at night. This belief is due to the reason that the wandering ghosts might possess children.


Offerings to the Dead
The Chinese also do a lot of offerings to the deceased. These offerings are made by burning fake money notes, which are also known as ‘hell money’ and even paper television or radio sets. Some families also burn paper houses & cars to give to their dead relatives. The Chinese feel that these offerings reach the ghosts and help them live comfortably in their world.
The Chinese regard the 15th of the month as an important date to give a feast to the ghosts. On this date, the family will cook a lot of dishes and offer them to the deceased. This is done to please the ghosts and also to gain good luck for the family. 15 days after the feast, the festival will be over, as the Chinese believe that the ghosts return back to where they come from.


So People, be very cautious wherever you go! :D

I had Music Lesson with Ms Ng Chu Ying this evening.
Managed to cover certain things:
SOLFEGE, MELODIC SINGING, SIGHT SINGING, MUSIC IN UNDERSTANDING and half of Maria.
But my tone sucks :( :( :(
I felt rather nervous, though it wasn't the actual examination room.
Got to practise more!
Dinner together at yew tee, ended up staying to watch some chinese show till 9pm.
It was rather addictive. Heh.
OH OH OH, I haven't got my letter yet! Yet rebecca and dororin gotten theirs already.
Pray hard that my exam falls on the end of Sept and doesn't clash with Ms Ng's schedule. :D

A DAY @ ANYU's PLACE

It feels weird without having band practise on Saturday morning.
So I spent my early morning.. SLEEPING!
I'm sure all, or should i say, ALMOST ALL love sleeping! :]
But anyway, I slept at 4am last night.
And to think I woke up at 12pm today!
So I spent the first half of my day:
eating , watching tv, msn chats.
Basically, Relaxing at home!
It just feels great, 'cos it's just so peaceful at home.
Next time I should show some pictures of my house, 'cos its simply too beautiful.
Evening, I meet some bandies out.
Had movies and dinner at Anyu's Place!

Thursday:
I had dinner with regent bandies. Talked about a lot of things, even BIOLOGY. Took one round of Lrt with jordan. Though we're in the same school,only when we meet up then we start to share a wide range of things. At night went to get shoes from ede. Oh I shall show you how adorable she is. :)

TODAY:
Awww. So many people are not present in class. 'Cos it's a Friday!What's more,it's a DRY SCIENCE Module. And I gona leave class early! Heading for a rest first, then to Philyouth night rehearsal. Gona touch on some of my parts before I go. My thighs hurts since yesterday, maybe because I have not been exercising much and out of the blue i went for a run.

Oh I wanna say : SHIRIN FOO is super C-H-I-L-D-I-S-H. Chickenish her. :]

I have been attending school for the past two days!

Doesn't mean that I didn't attend school today.

It's because TODAY IS AN OFFICIAL DAY-OFF FOR Republicans!

Yesterday was the Offical Opening of RP, if you read the Straits Times.

Too bad, I didn't join in the wild party last night.

AM didn't come, so Gary Chia took over our class. He's so nice and sexy.

Our RJ was extended till today 12pm. There isn't any RJ question anyway, means we're allowed to reflect on anything! (Since yesterday's topic was REFLECT) Gary dismissed us as early as 4pm!

Afterwards I went for a movie - The Simpsons, with Noel and An Yu. It was too lame to laugh. But enjoyed that show. Go catch if you have not.

So today I had lunch with yvonne,junhao,noel and matthew.I went for a run just now.I feel so healthy. :D
